Ruijters has been a proud partner and sponsor of Five4Five since 2020. Five4Five is the premier walking, cycling, and trail-run event in Limburg \u2013 first organized in 2014 \u2013 with proceeds benefiting promising medical-scientific cancer research at Maastricht UMC+ and partner hospitals in Limburg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Five4Five combines cycling and\/or running and\/or walking and is accessible to everyone. During Five4Five, you take on your own athletic challenge!<\/p>\n

The number \u20185\u2019
\n<\/strong>The goal of the event is to conquer 5 Limburg ‘hills’ while cycling. You complete the course 5 times, collecting 5 stamps. Runners and walkers pass by 5 stamp stations, earning 5 stamps as well.<\/p>\n

Cycling
\n<\/strong>The 5-star landscape of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten boasts challenging hills. Five of these “hills,” with an average gradient of 7 to 8%, are connected in a beautiful course of almost 14 km. Conquer these hills 5 times? Then you’ve conquered a real mountain pass from the Alps or Pyrenees. A challenge for every cyclist!<\/p>\n

Walking<\/strong>
\nThe walking path of Five4Five consists of two “loops,” each about 7.5 kilometers long. Both walking routes lead you along fantastic views, half-timbered farms, and all the other natural beauty for which this area is known. Along the way, there are spots designed with children in mind.<\/p>\n

Trail run
\n<\/strong>The approximately 10-kilometer trail run course takes you through narrow forest paths and unpaved roads in the magnificent 5-star landscape of South Limburg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
